Welcome to Toys from Tony which is a website dedicated to giving other dogs fun toys for free!
Toys from Tony is a charity & nonprofit organization and website dedicated to giving other animals who are in need. It is ideal for pet owners who want to get rid of their pet’s toys and miscellaneous pet items and no longer need them. So rather than throwing them in the trash, Toys from Tony will redistribute these pet items to not only dogs, but all pets in need of toys and other pet essentials. Donations include (but are not limited to) toys, blankets, leashes, collars, unopened cans or bags of pet food, animal shampoos, animal brushes, etc.
Backstory about Tony
My English Cocker Spaniel, Tony, who was born on Valentine’s Day, was a therapy dog at FURever as Friends, a non-profit organization in South Jersey, that allows young children to read to animals at a public library, schools and other venues. Since all animals are nonjudgmental, these interactions foster and facilitate healing and life affirmative moments that enhance the quality of life of everyone involved. Furthermore, it builds confidence, character, social skills, and reading skills in these children. All the kids loved Tony and he loved them. He passed away at 16 in his sleep in early May of 2022. He was such a kind and calm soul who my best friend and will always be my guardian angel!
Tony loved people, other animals, all kinds of human food, and life itself. But he especially loved his toys. As a way to honor and commemorate his memory, I decided to start a website where people can send their pet’s toys to me where they will be redistributed to other families who cannot afford to provide toys to their own pets.
